Proposal programme for one month of residency programme.: *

Conditions:

1.Minimum Age 20 years.
2.Candidates will be allowed to work for a period of 1 month only.
3.Studio Space and Accommodation will be provided.
4.Honorarium Rs 10,000 per month. 
5.24 hours studio access.
6.All basic art related materials will provided by the gallery except  brushes, scissors, cutters, xerox, sketchbooks etc.
7.Any two of the works made by the artist will be selected by the management of the gallery and will be the property of the gallery.
8.After completion of one month, a group show will be held at NIV galleries.
9.Artists are to submit images of their five recent works in CD/Photographs with complete details.
10.Applications can be sent through E-mail or via courier.
11.A cook will be provided by the Gallery, artists need to plan their own menu and raw materials.
12.Please carry your own laptops Wi-fi will be provided by the gallery.
13.A 100 word work proposal to be submitted while applying for the residency (Compulsory).


APPLICATION GUIDELINES

• A One month mentored residency for National and International emerging/ mid- career artist held in Niv Art Centre (Saket): the heart of New Delhi, in the 10,000 sq ft Niv Art gallery space.

• Exhibition of works created during the month long residency programme at the Niv Art Gallery


DURATION OF THE RESIDENCY:
The Residency Programme is for a period of one month.

Application to  be submitted by artists on or before  10th February 2012
Residency to begin in March (2012)

RESIDENT SELECTION PROCESS
Niv Art Centre Selection Panel will decide 12 artists who will be chosen for period of one months for the  residency programme.
