What kind of Art does NIV Art Centre (NIV) specialize in?
NIV mostly sells Modern and Contemporary Indian Art, with a strong focus on Indian Modernists. We have a large collection of artworks across Modern Indian Art, Contemporary Indian Art and Sculptures. Artworks include works on canvas and paper, prints, we also have a large collection of photographs and rare books as well.

What are the various ways one can purchase from NIV?
You can purchase art from NIV in any of the following ways: Purchasing from the physical locations By submitting an inquiry on an artwork at www.NIVArtCentre.com By emailing an query about your requirements to info@NIVArtCentre.com By calling our representative.
Can art purchased at NIV be delivered locally or shipped out-of-town?
Local delivery can be arranged with one of several delivery experts that NIV works with. Artworks shipped out-of-town are sent well packed and fully insured by ground or air freight. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Can NIV provide a valuation for an art work that I own?
NIV does provide valuation services. Further information can be found in the “Services” section of our website.
Does NIV offer framing services?
Framing service is offered at the physical locations of NIV as well as online. You can choose from a number of styles, materials, designs and techniques. And we can get the same framed according to your specifications, taste . The additional costs would be dependent on the selection made by you. Does the website include all the works available in NIV’s inventory?
We strive to include a wide range of selection of art from our inventory on the web site but every artwork is not available online. The website is updated for new selections periodically, you can sign up for our newsletter (should be a link) to receive updates.
How can I find out more information about a work displayed on the website?
If you have seen the work on display, please supply us with the code number displayed under the artwork details and we will provide you with the information.
How can I find out if you have a work by a particular artist in the Collection?
To view a list of all the artists featured on the website click on the Artist to view works. If you require further information on a particular artist, please submit an enquiry by emailing us at niv@NIVArtCentre.com
How can I keep up-to-date with events at NIV?
You can keep up to date with the events and happenings at NIV by subscribing to our monthly newsletter which is also downloadable from our website.
Where can I find information about the history of NIV?

What exhibitions are currently showing at NIV?
Visit the "Exhibitions" section on our website for details of past, current and future exhibitions.
How does one care for artworks?
Please go to "Care and Conservation" dedicated to preservation, conservation and restoration of artworks. You can read all about care for artworks and the related services that NIV offers.
How can I find out about job opportunities at the Gallery?
Recruitment is handled by the HR Department who is contactable by email on niv@nivartcentre.com
Who can use NIV Research Library?
Our Research Library is mainly for the Gallery's staff. Researchers and postgraduate students may use the Library by appointment.
How long will my artwork take to arrive?
In case the artwork is being shipped to another country it would take approximately 7 working days to arrive at most destinations.
In case the delivery is in India, it would take approximately 2-3 working days
In case the delivery is in NCR, it would be done on the within one business day
What if my artwork doesn't arrive?
In case of all artworks that NIV ships, there is a tracking number to each shipment which is shared with the client and you can track the shipment online.
If I am interested in selling my work, how do I go about it?
You can send all the details about the work you intend to sell to "niv@nivartcentre.com" for fill-in our applications form. You should send an image of the art work, caption details, authenticity certificate and price expectations and complete provenance details. This will be sent for assessment to our advisory panel and we will get back to within a fortnight to a month from the date of submission of all details.
